When planning for our biannual trip to Kenya, we look for long layovers to include a day trip in a random city around the world. The first time was Istanbul, Turkey. This time, though not as long, we chose Casablanca, Morocco. It was only a six hour layover, but plenty of time to get out for a moment before the plane left for the states. With the clock ticking, we grabbed a taxi and headed to the third largest mosque in the world — the Hassan II Mosque. Shimoni and the Slave Cave

Rainy Day at Rehoboth Beach
With the summer coming to a close and school about to start, we decided to make a day trip to Rehoboth Beach. The plan was for one more day out in the sun, but a tropical storm made it more of a day of walking around for a few hours, having lunch at Go Fish which was delicious and then heading home. I shouldn’t even be posting these but any moment on the road with the family is a special moment. Continue reading “Rainy Day at Rehoboth Beach”
One Last Beach Visit Before Heading Home
